초록
The aim of this study is to find out statistical relationship between temporal traffic noise and air pollution. Noise, particulate matter (PM2.5) and traffic data were measured in a spot in the middle of Seoul city, Korea, surrounded by three roads and metro, for 24 hours. The volume and average speed of traffic were steeply changed during the time of 8:00-9:00am and 0:00-2:00am and have an inverse relationship. Sound pressure level at daytime is higher than nighttime at low and high fre-quency bands. Concentration of PM2.5 shows even level at nighttime, 21:00pm-4:00am, but at day-time, density of PM2.5 changed from 50 μg/m3 to 200 μg/m3.
