서비스-러닝의 교육적 가치 탐색 -한나 아렌트 철학을 중심으로

초록

The purpose of this study is to explore the educational value of service-learning, focusing on the meanings of Hannah Arendt’s philosophy of ‘thinking’, ‘action’, and ‘love of the world.’ Literature research was conducted by analyzing concepts and meanings through papers and books related to service-learning, and major works and related papers by Hannah Arendt. The concept, reflection, and educational characteristics of service-learning were summarized, and the concepts and meanings of Hannah Arendt’s philosophical thought ‘thinking’, ‘action’, and ‘love of the world’ were analyzed. After that, the value of service-learning education was explored, focusing on Hannah Arendt’s philosophical ideology. In universities, service-learning will be an education that allows students to cultivate ‘thinking’ skills, express their identity and presence in active volunteer activities together, and realize ‘love of the world’ that serves neighbors in need of help in the community. Through this study, service-learning was interpreted in a new educational philosophical direction and educational value was presented.
