Advanced Delivery and Therapeutic Applications of RNAi

Vector-based approaches have the potential to provide stable introduction of RNAi. In principle, it requires only a single treatment with shRNA vector to target a specific gene. This chapter describes novel strategies to develop more powerful shRNA expression vectors for the treatment of cancer, with a focus on adenoviral systems.
