고등학생이 지각한 부모의 과잉간섭이 공격성, 공동체 의식에 미치는 영향에서 또래애착의 매개효과

초록

The purpose of this study was to examine the mediating effect that adolescents’ peer-to-peer attachments has on perceived parental controlled parenting behavior (intrusiveness) on their externalizing problem behavior (aggression) and sense of community. Data were from the 7th grade (2016) panel of the Korea Children Youth Panel Survey(KCYPS) conducted by The Nation Youth Policy Institute(NYPI). parental intrusiveness had negative effects on peer attachment and had a positive effect on adolescent aggression. As expected, parental intrusiveness had a direct positive effect on adolescents’ aggression and a direct negative effect on adolescents’ sense of community. However, parental intrusiveness also decreased peer-to-peer attachment, and poor peer-to-peer attachment then explained why adolescents reported high aggression and low sense of community. This study shows how problematic parenting behavior (intrusiveness) leaves adolescents’ poorly prepared for social relationships in the school setting.
