초록

The Multiwall Carbon nanotubes (MWNTs) were treated with mixture of sulfuric acid and nitric acid (3:1), in order to purify MWNTs and substrate carboxyl group. Nanoparticles based on Polyaniline (PANI) treated with MWNTs were synthesized via Inverse emulsion polymerization. Cyclohexane was used for media of polymerization and various surfactants such as dodecylbenzene-sulfonic acid (DBSA), Naphthalenesulfonic acid and Camphorsulfonic acid were added for the formation of inverse micelles. Hydrophile-Lipophile Balance values (HLB) for eace surfact were calculated and used for references. MWNTs and aniline monomers were introduced into the ctclohexane solution of surfactant and the solution was treated with ultra-sonification. Then ammoniumpersulfate (APS) aqueous solution was dropped to the system. Inverse micelles were formed near the MWNTs due to the hydrophobicity. And aniline monomers were solubilized into micelles and the PANI adsorbed to MWNTs via redox polymerization by APS. The product exhibited higher electric conductivity. And the XRD patterns of the powder represented that the existence of MWNT had an effect on the formation of pyrrole layer near the nanotubes. The carboxy modification of MWNT and the chemical interaction between MWNT and polypyrrole were observed by FT-IR spectrum. Thermal stability of the conducting particle was improved by introduction of MWNT, compared to the intrinsic polyaniline nano-particle.
