미술·디자인 관련 진로탐색 자유학기제 프로그램 사례 분석

초록

The rapid advance in IT and state-of-the-art science have fueled economic growth and the shifts of the world of work. It s quite important to help students, who will be the mainstay of future society, to adapt themselves well to future society and the world of work, and innovative education is widespread all over the world to foster every sort of ability and competency that future society and the world of work require. To stay abreast with this change, our country announced an initiative to introduce a free semester system in 2016 to teach students to pursue their dreams, exert their talents and improve their competencies in response to the requirements of future society. The purpose of this study was to develop a free semester creativity/ career exploration program geared toward helping students to broaden their horizon and to find out and improve their own dreams and talents in the field of art and design. The program developed in this study is expected to be a significant free semester career exploration program that provides an opportunity for them to broaden their horizon on the art/design-related world of work, to seek after their own dreams and to discover their own talents.
