초록

Musical performance shares many issues and problems with its historiogrphy. 1) Performers and historians are reading texts and consider it in their context. 2) performance and writing history are act of doing. 3) Performers and historians could use their imagination but that imagination should be based on the traditions and respect the attribute their materials. 4) They both need to shape narratives. 5) They allow the multiple interpretations on the object. 6) There are ethical issue in their works. In these ways writing music history resembles musical performance. Therefore when they compare their work with musical performance, historians could reflect on the nature of their doing and would get important insight.
