Fault detection and isolation of semi-active system using integrated method

초록
In modern times, mechatronics systems are increasingly being applied to vehicles. ECS (Electronically Controlled Suspension) system is applied to improve the stability of the vehicle and the comfort of the driver. ECS is divided into two kinds. There are semi active and full active systems with hydraulic or pneumatic actuators and electronic controls added to the existing passive suspension consist of spring and damper. Among them, the semi-active system is less costly than the full-active system, and because of the difference in control method, energy usage is relatively low, so it is widely applied to advanced vehicles. The application of this system is increasing the importance of fault diagnosis of these systems in order to ensure the stability of the intended vehicle and the comfort of the driver. In this paper, we propose an Integrated fault diagnosis and isolation algorithm based on Supervision, model-based parity equations, and parameter estimation methods for efficient fault diagnosis and isolation of real ECS system.
