포털 미디어의 뉴스 프레임에 대한 탐색적 연구: 미디어다음, 조선일보, 한겨레신문의 비교를 중심으로

초록

This study explored differences and implications between portal media and traditional media to applied Frame Analysis. In this context, this study focused on “The Administrative Capital Unconstitutionality” that have been representative social issue in 2004, Korea and analysed a coverage trends and coverage mode frame, coverage substance frame of Chosun Ilbo, Hangurae Newspaper, Media Daum. The results are so followed. Firstly, Chosun Ilbo and Hangurae Newspaper were contrary to each other, but Media Daum was similar to Hangurae Newspaper in the coverage trends. Secondly, Chosun Ilbo, Hangurae Newspaper is used thematic-oriented frame, but Media Daum is used event-oriented frame and thematic-oriented frame in the coverage mode frame. Thirdly, coverage substance frame identified 6 act-subjectivity frames, 2 issue frames, and 5 theme/context frame. Chosun Ilbo, Hangurae Newspaper were contrary to each other but Media Daum was similar to Hangurae Newspaper in coverage substance frame.
