Control of surface roughness and porosity of PEG-grafted silica particles by using PEGME-IPTES monomer

초록

The silica particles modified by PEGME-IPTES monomer are synthesized by two-step addition process. PEG-grafted silica particles synthesized by various addition processes have a controllable porosity and surface roughness. The characteristics of silica particles were observed by SEM, Thermo Gravimetric Analysis (TGA) and Brunauer-Emmett-Teller (BET).
