초록

Qi(氣) is the force of nature. This energy is similar to the way the earth is pulled by the sun and the way the tides are affected by the moon. The existence of Cosmic Chi helps explain why the weather affects personal moods and feelings. Cosmic Chi is considered the source of abundant wealth, fortune, peace, honor and good health. Businesses with plentiful chi will prosper and continue to grow. Definition: In feng shui, as in Chinese medicine, Chi is the term for the universal energy, or the energy that permeates everything around us. This feng shui term applies to the energy inside your body, as well to the energy inside and outside of buildings. The nature and life are governed by one common element of yinyang even though the twos are seen as two totally different entities. Thus it is argued that the law of yinyang affects fortune or misfortune(吉凶禍福) and rise or fall(興亡盛衰) in one’s life. If we have awareness of the yinyang principle, we would be able to understand those events that happen every time between human beings. Furthermore the yinyang principle gives us some hints to predict how the ups and downs are going to be drawn in one’s life. Qi(氣) is the energy that comes out from breathing, that is, the energy that lives and operates, that is, Jeonggi(精氣), Wongi((元氣), Saenggi(生氣), and Gilyeg(氣力). All of these words contain the word "Qi," which is one of the basic concepts of Eastern philosophy, is involved in the development, development, and extinction of humans, the sky, the earth, and all other things. It is the basic element that constitutes all things in the universe and can be said to be the source and essence of all matter. Although invisible, it is the energy inherent in all beings and phenomena and is a central concept that flows through our body and the universe. Additionally, the concept of qi occupies a crucial position in Eastern philosophy and medicine and is viewed as an essential concept for understanding nature, humans, and the universe, rather than simply meaning energy or vitality. For this reason, Chinese philosophers and Joseon scholars have constantly attempted to organize the concept of qi. Of course, even in modern times, research on qi is being conducted from various angles.
