대학생활만족도가 첫 일자리 직무‧전공 적합성, 직업가치, 현 일자리 만족도에 미치는 영향

초록

As the job market of Korea get narrower day by day, young people spend a lot of time, effort, and money in preparing for successful employment, such as managing college credits and actively participating outside activities. However, it is often seen that they have intention to quit or turnover immediately after joining the company, as the period of preparation for employment is overshadowed. Also, as the concept of lifelong work disappears, the turnover rate is steadily increasing in line with the reality that individuals must constantly explore their careers. In these situations, it is important for individuals to know exactly what the value of an one's job is for continuous career development, which leads to job satisfaction after entering the company, rather than simply focusing on successful employment ways. Therefore, in this study, we focused on youth between the ages of 19 and 34, which is the stage of exploring and selecting jobs that are suitable for them during the life cycle. Based on bottom-up spill over theory, job search theory, and social identity theory, we explored not only the environmental factors but also personal factors that affect the career development of life after graduation and youth. Using SPSS process Macro, first job-major fit and job value had a dual moderation effect on the relationship between satisfaction on college life and job satisfaction. As a higher education institution that serves as a bridge to successful social advancement for young people in the period of exploring and establishing career values, our findings will suggest the challenges of universities and emphasize the importance of job experience and job value in the first job.
