Membrane-Based CO2 Capture in Industrial Processes: Case Studies and Process Analysis

초록

Membrane-based CO2 capture technologies have attracted significant attention as energy-efficient and scalable alternatives to conventional separation methods. This review provides a comprehensive summary of recent advancements in membrane materials, process configurations, and industrial applications for CO2 separation across key sectors, including power generation, cement production, steel manufacturing, and biogas upgrading. By compiling findings from experimental studies and pilot-scale demonstrations, this review presents an updated assessment of the current state of membrane-based CO2 capture technologies. Additionally, it outlines the challenges and considerations associated with large-scale deployment, offering a structured reference for researchers and industry professionals working in membrane separation for CO2 capture.
