초록
This study examines how integrated environmental factors within the Wando Marine Healing Center, including its programs, influence psychological and subjective well-being based on Self-Determination Theory. Structural equation modeling (SEM) was conducted using SPSS 27.0 and AMOS 21 with 411 valid samples. The results show that the environmental factors of the marine healing center positively influenced basic psychological needs, which in turn had positive effects on both psychological and subjective well-being. In the cognitive mediation pathway involving perceived quality, environmental factors also had positive effects on self-determination needs and well-being through the cognitive mediation pathway of perceived quality. The moderating effect of individual health consciousness was also examined. The moderating effect analysis revealed that the path from environmental factors to the satisfaction of psychological needs was relatively stronger among individuals with lower levels of health consciousness. These findings suggest that the integrated environmental factors of marine healing centers can function as restorative environments that facilitate the satisfaction of self-determination needs and contribute to well-being beyond short-term experiential enjoyment. Furthermore, unlike previous marine healing studies that have focused mainly on medical efficacy, this study holds academic significance by empirically verifying the relationship with psychological well-being and suggesting the potential to expand the user base.
