민화를 활용한 평생교육 프로그램 개발 및 적용 효과

초록

As the people's interest in traditional culture and arts heightens, the government included its contents in the Lifelong Education Act for 2008. Along with a literature review in order to figure out value and role of modern society in a folk painting. Also, it collected the Korean folk painting education courses, which are being carried out in the lifelong education dimension. The effectiveness was applied the Korean folk painting educational programs, which were developed in the artist’s creative studio, to 10 people from January of 2020 to September of 2021. The qualitative analysis on the Participant Observation and the results were executed through the three-step analysis procedure by Miles & Huberman(1994). The following are the results that examined its effectiveness in the usage and educational aspect on the folk painting as lifelong education. First, as the public interest grows, the folk painting was confirmed to be valuable in educational ease and popularity. Second, in the aspect as modern illustration, the folk painting was being fused and used with frequenting various fields such as advertising and product design. This was because the symbolism of being possessed by the folk painting was recognized as a special and highly communicative medium for consumers. Third, as a result of developing and applying the Korean folk painting education programs, the impacts could be arranged as‘stimulating an interest and willingness to learn with the theoretical knowledge, improving confidence and expectation with the practical coloring skills, revealing creativity, and expressing a desire for self-realization.’
