다양한 시험조건에서의 계장화 압입시험에 의한 벌크 비정질 합금의 변형거동 분석

초록

Bulk metallic glasses (BMGs) tend to appear macroscopically brittle, since the plastic flows in the materials are severely localized into shear bands. In this study, to gain new insights of the small scale deformation behaviour in BMG, a series of instrumented indentation experiments were performed on Zr-based BMGs under various testing conditions (i.e., at various loading rates and maximum loads). Results are discussed in terms of prevailing ideas for shear-band-ruled deformation behaviours in the glasses.
