증보판 ≪조선말 대사전≫(2006)의 동족어 부류에 대한 고찰

초록

This article looks at the cognate words classes listed in the supplement revised edition ‘Joseonmal Daesajeon(2006)’. Cognate words are microstructure information used only in not South Korean Dictionary but the North Korean dictionary. Cognate words have the dictionary definition as ‘words that have the same common root’. However, so far studies such as discussion on the concept of cognate words and research on the position of cognate words as microstructure information in <Dictionary> are few. Therefore, this article aims at researching the concept of cognate words and the micro-structural position of cognate words in Dictionary. Also it aims at checking the 'cognate words List' in Revised edition ‘Joseonmal Daesajeon’, and determining their characteristics. I took the complete enumeration and confirmed the cognate words the ‘Joseonmal Daesajeon(2006)’. And that analyze a characteristic with lexicography. The result that I do the word list the complete enumeration survey actually and headword having the cognate words were the total of 572. And the number of whole cognate words was 4,395. The grammar category of the headword having the cognate words, as to a most was the nominal word group. And 1 was the affix. The result that I examine the macrostructure of this dictionary and microstructure, I don't coincide with the cognate words definition that headword of the affix has the cognate words. And it is not right in the lexicography view for the consistency. Therefore I except from the headword having the cognate words, and an affix can improve the percentage of completion. To study the concept and the characteristics of the cognate words is intended to ultimately apply to the South Korean dictionary. To Use information of cognate words may be given an active function as <Production Dictionary> beyond the limitation of <Comprehension Dictionary>.
