동호거실에 나타난 自我意識 연구
초록
Yi Eonjin(1740~1766) is the highly-gifted poet dying at 27. The only trace of his life is his poems which are not so many like his short life. "Donghogeosil" reveals a variety of his self-consciousness. This study examined his self-consciousness around "Donghogeosil." I hope this study be the opportunity to come closer to his works. "Donghogeosil" by Yi Eonjin is a series of poems comprising 170 poems. Unlike other series of poems, the successive flow doesn't exist in "Donghogeosil." The works in "Donghogeosil" described whatever to be said by his consciousness as it is. It may be hard to deny that his works in "Donghogeosil" comprised mainly reveals which were nearly excess of self-consciousness. Yi Eonjin ceaselessly inquired into the self. He tried to find out the answer to the question "What is I?" In spite of the self-esteem which was nearly arrogance, he was neglected in reality. He was the powerless head in his family and in the fringe group in the literary world. Thus, he stopped communication with others and found the way to self-esteem elevating the self by himself. The life which he despised was the unusual life which was not mine. Unusual life is the life not by true self but by fake self. The streets and government officers in his poems represented the unusual life. So he denied the realistic compensation but pursued the life confining himself to strengthen the self. Furthermore, he put every endeavor to find out true self as being resolutely cut off from others. Beyond following or imitating others' literary styles, he wanted to find out his position in the literary world only by his own voice. To this end, he tried 6-word poems using colloquial Chinese. Those poems reflected substantial influences from Wang Shizhen, Yuan Hongdao and Shui-Hu-Zhi as well as a variety of ideological exploits on Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism.
