Next-generation wireless networks will exploit the integration of sensing and communication for intelligent network optimization through semantic object understanding. This paper proposes an innovative method to enable semantic tracking capabilities in near-field integrated sensing and communication (ISAC) systems at a fully integrated level. In particular, the analysis of extremely large aperture arrays' round-trip channels utilizing cosine similarity, combined with neural networks, enables the accurate tracking and classification of extended target users. Following 3GPP settings, the case studies demonstrate robust tracking performance and classification accuracy of extended target users, highlighting the potential of the developed method to enable semantic ISAC systems.
