High efficient multiple-input positive buck-boost converter

초록
This paper proposes a high efficient soft-switching multiple-input positive buck-boost converter. Multiple-input converters (MIC) use usually forward-conducting-bidirectionalblocking (FCBB) switches to control their input voltages and currents. However, these FCBB switches may decrease the overall system efficiency because of their switching losses. This paper applied a soft-switching method into multiple-input (MI) positive buck-boost converter's switches in order to design a high efficient MIC. Based on the hardware experiment result, the proposed converter showed that its power conversion efficiency was 95.25%.
