승마여가에서 전문화 수준이 몰입과 만족에 미치는 영향

초록

Within the increasing interest in horseback riding as a leisure activity, this study investigated the effect of specialization on commitment and satisfaction in the horseback riding context. Two hundred forty responses of horseback riders were collected. To analyze the collected data, exploratory factor analysis and multiple regression analysis were performed. The result indicated that both specialization’s effect on commitment and commitment’s influence on satisfaction were statistically significant. In addition, a horseback rider who had a higher level of specialization reported a higher degree of satisfaction. This study would contribute to the development of knowledge about specialization in the leisure and tourism fields. As the findings of this study indicates, practitioners related to horseback riding industry should pay more attention to the specialization level of horseback riders to attract new participants and retain the existing horseback riders.
