고교학점제가 요청하는 국어 교사의 수업 전문성에 대한 소고 - 사설시조 교육의 국면을 중심으로 -

초록

The purpose of this study is to clarify the professionalism of Korean language teachers, an essential requirement of the high school credit system. Professionalism refers to the ability of teachers to select, organize, and customize appropriate class content. The high school credit system leads learning oriented and customized classes. The limitation of classes led by “created curriculum” and “created textbooks” is well understood. Such classrooms satisfy neither the students nor their teachers. Therefore, it is detected that there will be a different change in the classroom than before the high school credit system. The study describes how discussions around the enjoyment of editorial poetry are being conducted in academic and educational discourse. When teachers are told to select and organize class content themselves, frontline teachers are likely to model existing textbooks. The textbook teachers’ model, can help identify their preference for educational discourse. It can also help identify teachers who accept academic discourse as educational discourse. In either case, teachers should be able to actively consider the distance between the former and the latter and not allow educational discourse to be more advantageous than academic discourse, especially with regards to the selection of the learning contents for their class. Similarly, when organizing the learning contents for their class, teachers should be transparent about issues they might face.. In short, I think the high school credit system will serve as an opportunity to reflect on and enhance the professionalism of Korean language teachers at two levels: selecting the class content and organization of the contents.
