어린이 전문병원 대기실의 공간디자인 특성

초록

The waiting room of children’s hospital is a place for children with weak immunity. The waiting room of children's hospital should create an environment that can prevent infections and provide psychological stability. The purpose of this study is to identify the problems of the waiting room in children’s hospital and analyze the spatial design characteristics of the waiting room considering the physical and mental health of the children. The scope of this study selected waiting rooms of three children's hospitals located in Seoul. The analysis results are as follows: First, the space design characteristics of the waiting room in children’s hospital were in the order of amenity, sociality, safety and aesthetic. Second, hallway type of waiting room was exposed to noise and infection. Third, the waiting room should be designed to reflect the natural environment according to the psychological characteristics of the child patient.
