노인의 감각처리능력 향상의 관점에서의 다감각환경 (Snoezelen) 분석

초록

The population of elder people is growing rapidly in modern society. The purpose of this study was to examine and analyze ‘Multi sensory environment (Snoezelen)’ which is designed to stimulate people’s sensory processing and promote rehabilitation of sensory integration from elder people’s perspective. Snoezelen is known as an effective therapy for sensory integration. In this study, 2 cases are chosen for the target area. There are three methods in this study. First was studying about elder people’s weakening sensory processing. Second was investigating the status, elements of the space organization, and the programs of 2cases. Third, synthesized the features of it for a remedy of elder people’s attenuated sensory processing. In conclusion, Snoezelen is still targeting disabled people so that we should study more on how to promote elder people to use Snoezelen for seonsory processing. It is expected that ways like long-term treatment would give positive effects to elder people.
