방송 영상에 특화된 자막 추출 모델 연구

초록

Recently, there is a growing demand for automatic content search within a long video to produce its summarizedvideo in a short length. In this paper, we deal with a subtitle extraction model, which automatically extracts thesubtitles from videos and makes it usable as a mean of video contents retrieval. Among various types of videos, thispaper focuses on a subtitle extraction model specialized for broadcast videos. To this end, several characteristics ofbroadcast subtitles are considered. In addition, broadcast subtitle data were collected, labeled and used as trainingdata. As a result of our experiment, it was confirmed that the performance of subtitle extraction was improved whenour proposed method was applied.
