시각장애 청소년을 둔 어머니의 삶의 경험에 대한 연구: Q 방법론을 적용하여

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to identify the types and characteristics of the life experiences of mothers of blind adolescents by Q methodology. Method: The Q methodology was applied and the Q-recruitment group consisted of the mothers who met standard. Finally 33 final Q-samples were selected. For the P-sample, 26 mothers of blind adolescents were selected, and for each statement of theirs, Q-classification were conducted on a 9-points scale according to personal consent from -4 to +4. Results: As a result of Q-factor analysis with the QUANL, four types were identified. Type 1 was a mixed strong adhension and fear with child, Type 2 was a pursing communication with their child and parental growth, Type 3 was a representing anxiety and hopelessness toward child, and Type 4 was a fusion type with child. Conclusion: The significance of this study is that it tries to understand and explore the expeirience types with balance focusing on the mothers’ lives, and it can used as basic data for providing psychological support for the mothers of blind adolescents.
