초록
The purpose of this study is to understand the structural influence relationship between the dog companion's perception of hotel constraints, negative emotion, and avoidance behavior, and to understand the moderating effect of dog attachment. This study conducted a survey of 265 adults who had experience using companion dog hotels and adults raising dogs to experiment with a research model built based on previous studies and analyzed it as a structural equation model. The results of this study are as follows: (1) Among the three factors (policy, location, and price) of dog companions' perception of hotel constraints, policy constraint and price constraint were found to have a significant effect on negative emotions, which were partially supported. (2) Negative emotions were found to have a significant effect on avoidance behavior. (3) The dog companion's perception of hotel constraints was rejected as it did not significantly affect avoidance behavior. (4) Negative emotions were found to play a complete mediating role between dog companions' perception of policy constraints and price constraints and avoidance behavior, a dependent variable. (5) Dog attachment has been shown to play a moderated mediating role in the relationship that affects avoidance behavior by mediating negative emotions in policy constraint perception and price constraint perception. Therefore, the results of this study can present a theoretical basis for empirical research on dog hotels, and practical implications for alleviating the perception of the restrictions that dog companions feel on hotel use.
