성별, 세대별 간투사 실현 양상 분석 연구
초록
This study aims to examine the realization patterns of interjections appearing in the <The Korean Corpus of Spontaneous Speech> by gender and age. Particularly, it seeks to discuss and compare how interjections are realized in the speech corpus, and to analyze their characteristics. In the case of males, the sequence ‘예, 그, 어, 아, 뭐’ showed a proportion of over 10%, while in females, the sequence ‘예, 어, 뭐, 그, 아’ exhibited such a proportion. However, both males and females predominantly used ‘예’, showing a high proportion of over 10%, albeit in slightly different sequences. These interjections, ‘예, 어, 그, 뭐, 아’, can be considered as frequently used interjections regardless of gender. For teenagers, it was observed that they primarily use interjections such as ‘예, 아, 어, 그’, with ‘예’ being the most commonly used at around 28.7%. In their twenties, they also primarily use interjections like ‘예, 아, 그, 어’, which was similar to teenagers. ‘예’ was also the most commonly used at around 27.8%. In their thirties, they mainly use interjections like ‘예, 뭐, 그, 어’, which was similar to teenagers and those in their twenties, except for the higher proportion of ‘뭐’ instead of ‘아’, which was unique to the thirties. Like other age groups, ‘예’ was the most commonly used at around 17.7%. In their forties, they mainly use interjections like ‘그, 어, 예, 뭐, 아’, which was unique to this age group compared to others. If we talk about the generational changes only through interjections, there was a clear difference in their forties. Particularly, the higher proportion of ‘그, 어’ compared to ‘예’ distinguished them from other generations. Overall, when examining the results, one characteristic stands out. The interjections ‘예, 아, 그, 뭐, 어’, which were mentioned in the analysis of gender characteristics, are precisely that characteristic. Although the order varied slightly, these interjections showed relatively high proportions across all generations. Therefore, it can be said that these interjections are the most typical in our Korean language, widely used regardless of gender or age group.
