In Chosun, it is taboo for Sunbee(선비) to give a priority to wealth instead of focusing on practicing Tao. This trend seems to be originated from a stereotyped cultural-bias of Sunbee’s calling-living on pursuing Tao. In extreme cases, a few Sunbee thoroughly adhesive to the calling did not give glance to working for living neglecting Tao. In addition, some groups of Sunbee intentionally avoided the chance of being wealth in order to honor the life of Tao. It resulted in a horrible dissipation of their family. This ambivalence accelerated a rapid question of how to sustain the calling of Sunbee without losing a basic infrastructure of life. As a result, two newly alternative styles appeared. On the one hand, Sunbees became faithful for sustaining his family. They labored for them- selves; it enabled them to distribute their earnings to the marginal, by which they applied Tao to their society. On the other hand, those who had been grossed into being wealth became to find the importance of righteousness and faithfulness. These people also began to distribute their possession to the marginal. This trend made it possible Sunbees to maintain their dignity of doing Tao without despising the value of wealth. The term Sunbee connoted a balanced characteristic between doing Tao and doing economical action.
