CiteSpace를 활용한 국제 태권도 연구동향 및 지식구조 분석: 2000-2025년 Web of Science Core Collection 자료를 중심으로

초록

Purpose This study comprehensively examined publication trends, knowledge production and collaboration structures, major themes, intellectual bases, and thematic changes in international Taekwondo research from 2000 to 2025 and proposed directions for future research. Method A staged screening of English-language articles and reviews from the Web of Science Core Collection yielded 1,049 records. Microsoft Excel, NetworkX 3.6.1, and CiteSpace 6.4.R1 were used to analyze publication trends, country, institution, and author collaboration networks, source journals, keywords, and document co-citation. Results International Taekwondo research expanded after 2011 and entered a high-growth period after 2020. South Korea produced the most publications, while the United States, South Korea, and Poland occupied important bridging positions in the country network. Universidade de São Paulo, Jan Dlugosz University, Keimyung University, and Kyung Hee University were leading institutions, and Franchini, Wasik, and Falco were leading authors. Research centered on sports performance, exercise physiology, physical activity, sports injury, biomechanics, postural control, and conditioning; recent fronts emphasized mental health, health promotion, older adults, competition equipment, ergogenic aids, validity, and reliability. Conclusion International Taekwondo research retains a sports-science-centered knowledge base while expanding toward health, psychology, equipment, and measurement. Future studies should strengthen cross-national and interinstitutional collaboration, integrate multiple databases and languages, and conduct topic-specific systematic reviews and evidence-quality assessments.
