제주올레 관광지 속성, 도보관광객 편익, 그리고 지각된 가치 간 관계 분석 - 수단-목적 사슬 이론 적용 -

초록

The focus of this research was walking tourism, and its purpose was (1) to identify the attributes, benefits, and values (ABV) perceived as important by walking tourists and (2) to examine the connections among attributes (walking tour destination’s features), benefits (consequences for use), and ultimate value perception associated with a walking tour through means-end chain theory. One hundred and twenty seven walking tourists were interviewed utilizing the hard laddering method. The results of the data revealed three major linkages: (1) scenic/natural resources (A), escape/ stress relief (B)”, happiness (V); (2) trail walking (A), meditation (B), relaxedness (V); and (3) people who meet at Jeju-Olle (A), interaction with local residents and other tourists (B), fun/enjoyment (V). These findings imply that it is crucial to investigate walking tourists’ perceived values in order to reinforce the attributes which are associated with the particular value.
