러시아정교의 민족주의에 관한 소고 - 모스크바 제3로마이론, 러시아정교와 이슬람의 관계를 중심으로

This articles explores Russian Orthodox nationalism focused on Third Romism, relation between Russian Orthodoxy and Islam. The main goal of this paper is to overview russian nationalism's diverse form through the russian's national identity and Russian Orthodox historical process and identity. Chapter II review Russian Orthodox historical character- nationalism's role and its process. Chapter III analyzes Third Romisms and Russian Orthodox nationalism. Chapter IV examines Russian Orthodox and Islam's religious nationalism in the postsoviet era. After presenting origins of the concept and its major interpretations in the past, this paper considers its reincarnations(Third Romisms) in Russian Orthodox nationalism, such as Orthodox Nationalism/Fundamentalism, its origins of Orthodoxy, Islam's historical concept and its historical process in the current Russian Federation. To summarise, historically there have been several major understandings of the concept with distinctive Russian Orthodox nationalism's ideals attached: its original meaning in Muscovy was primarily inward-looking, promoting ideals of a protective Orthodox empire. The aim of this article is to present identity in Russian nationalism's recognition through Islam's ideological process and current geopolitical concept.
