이중모음 /ㅢ/의 세대별, 성별 발음 실태에 대한 분석

Cho Sung-moon. 2015. A Study on the Metaphony of Korean diphthong /ɯy/ by the variations across Generation and Gender. This study conducts research into cross-generation and between-gender variations of Korean diphthong /ɯy/ found in The Korean Corpus of Spontaneous Speech. This research is based on the assumption that each generation and gender have its peculiar features and tendencies when making pronunciation. First of all, we employ the notion of Statistics for the various surface realization of diphthong /ɯy/ in Modern Korean. As indicated, the cognition of language used by people reflects the explicit use of the language which plays a central role in linguistic change.
