노인복지관의 여가문화시설 현황 및 사용자 만족도에 관한 연구

초록

Recently, the number of senior population has been rapidly increased, and the senior welfare services has been expanded not only to the seniors with economically poor conditions but to the seniors with healthy economic and physical condition. The Senior Welfare Center in local regions play an important role as a leisure and culture facility for the seniors and its number has been increasing with a government support. However, the utility conditions and satisfaction in many senior welfare centers are inadequate since only a limited guideline for establishing the center is provided and user demands are not applied in the construction regulation. The purpose of this study is, therefore, to examine the utility condition and user satisfaction of leisure and culture facilities in senior welfare centers in order to provide a specific guideline for the interior plan from the users view point. First, the concept, space properties of senior welfare center were examined. Based on the previous study, this study classified the senior leisure-culture program by function and analysed conditions of space organization by filed study. Moreover, this study used the survey to examine the user satisfaction in the selected 7 senior welfare centers by sampling method. As a result, minimum room size, furniture, and appliance with which a program can be conducted were planned in general and one-sided form rather than to supply good indoor space for leisure life of the elderly. Layout of program room was in mixed form of learning, entertainment, health, convenience facility etc. so that noise occurred much according to kind of program or it gave inconvenience to user’s moving line. And ventilation plan for pleasurable environment and differentiated design plan according to kind of program were poor. Also, Satisfaction survey results for convenience facilities for the highest satisfaction with the lowest health facility. Convenience facilities plan to support the function of the room, but the health facilities did not have enough, such as exercise equipment, rooms and facilities do not match because of the design plan for the satisfaction was lower. Accordingly, space plan fit to function of leisure program and elaborate design plan from viewpoint of users are necessary.
