초록

Externally induced rotation can occur in the hydrogen recirculation blowers of fuel cell systems prior to motor startup, as the rotor is driven by hydrogen flow resulting from the tank pressure. Under these conditions, rotor alignment at startup becomes difficult. In this study, the rotor is set to stand still by eliminating the pressure difference caused by the hydrogen tank, as this process consumes time. However, for rapid startup, a method that enables motor initiation while the rotor is already rotating is needed. This study proposes a startup method for a hydrogen recirculation blower that accounts for externally induced rotation. This scheme is identified by applying three zero-voltage vectors and estimating the rotor speed and position. The duration of the applied zero-voltage vector and the interval between injections are adjusted according to the magnitude of the back electromotive force (EMF). The method enables stable startup over the entire speed range. The proposed system is experimentally validated on an actual blower with a 200 W IPMSM.
