그린 인프라 재생을 통한 친수공간 이용 활성화 계획 - 부산광역시 하단 포구를 중심으로 -

초록

The study explores approaches to use water-side spaces in complex and multiple ways as a part of planned research to promote the use of waterfronts. Although Hadan Port, the subject area of this study, has a historic value and a potential, it is currently disconnected from Nakdong River visually and has forgotten from the city to become a lost space, losing its value as a water resource. Hence, the purpose of this study is to increase its value as the foothold of the public sphere through environmental regeneration as a green infrastructure and develop a physical environment plan in order to enable the port to carry out the key roles as waterfronts. A basic plan to conduct the study was developed by focusing on issues that should be tackled to utilize waterfronts and provide the foothold in cluding ‘creating placeness about the space’, ‘environmental arrangement and regeneration of port’, and ‘differentiation of access system and networking’ and the findings of the study are as follows. First, creating a sense of place or its recognition depends on the matter of how to make ‘Hadan Port attractive’. To this end, a method to install landmarks (glass walls) for landscape was considered so that people can recognize the space from the outside and an option to provide cognitive direction towards Nakdong River and its virtual scenery (via media screen) was proposed for the delivery from the inside. Second, dual approaches were applied to the spatial plan with regard to the arrangement of port environment in order to improve the working environment of fishermen and contain leisure activities for visitors at the same time. To be specific, we refrained from adopting new facilities and proposed potential operating areas through 2-dimensional planning (pavement patterns), and intended flexible operation of local festivals and other programs. Third, the use and utilization of water resources were emphasized again by improving accessibility to the port to promote its use. Such plans include guarantee of green network, improving the environment nearby the entrance, and ensuring visual openness and continuity, etc. The result of this study is meaningful in that it provided a development possibility of Hadan Port to serve as public bases in practice through environmental regeneration that is considered as a green infrastructure. Based on this, Hadan Port can be used in improving the environment effectively for the livelihood of local residents and providing leisure and unusual experiences to visitors. Furthermore, it is expected that Hadan Port can fulfill its role as a case study indicating environmental improvement of basic facilities for urban development and the establishment of regional identity as a waterfront space.
