학습기계를 이용한 영상에서의 얼굴영역 추출

Computer vision systems are widely used and applied to quality inspection automation, AGV, costs reduction by automation, introducing mass production system, HCI, and so on. Also it could be applied to preventing product quality losses due to the human touches and treating multi-items on the same production line. Computer vision system is one of the field of pattern recognition application and it includes image acquisition by CCD camera or Line scan camera, image processing and pattern analysis. Face detection is a interesting theme in pattern recognition and computer vision area because it is easily applicable to object detection system. For the more it could be used for making efficient face recognition and object recognition system. Machine learning is widely used among pattern recognition methods and useful way for face detection. On this paper, we compare the performance of several face detection systems by using machine learning and explain its methodology.
