초록
This study aimed to examine how the participation motives of running crew members affect leisure satisfaction and consumption behavior. To this end, a survey was conducted with adult men and women aged 20 and older who were participating in running crew activities. Using a convenience sampling method, data from a total of 275 respondents were used for the final analysis. The collected data were analyzed with SPSS through frequency analysis, exploratory factor analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis. The findings were as follows. First, participation motives in running crews had a positive effect on leisure satisfaction. Second, participation motives were found to have a significantly positive effect on consumption behavior. Health orientation, self-development, and social orientation had positive effects on consumption behavior, whereas hobby and entertainment orientation showed a negative effect on consumption behavior factors. Third, in terms of leisure satisfaction, social satisfaction and environmental satisfaction had positive effects on all consumption behaviors, while psychological satisfaction had a negative effect on consumption behavior factors. These results indicate that the participation motives and leisure satisfaction of running crew members are closely related to consumption behavior. Therefore, participation motives such as health orientation, self-development, and social orientation may enhance satisfaction with running activities and, in turn, lead to running-related consumption behavior.
