浩然齋의 실낙원, 鰲頭의 고금 풍정

초록

The purpose of this article is to analyze the works of Kim Hoyeonjae(金浩然齋, 1681-1722) after her marriage, which show the sentiment of loss of hometown, to identify the substance of her hometown, and to shed light on the geographical state of Odu(鰲頭) village where Hoyeonjae grew and became her literary background. In chapter 2, I revealed that the geographic space in Hoyeonjae’s poem after marriage is divided into two place-Odu, the hometown and Hoedeok(懷德), a strange land. Also, the poem reveals strong longing for Odu. For Hoyeonjae, her childhood in Odu where her parents and nine siblings were together, was both an utopia and a lost paradise. In chapter 3, I reconstructed Odu’s scene during Hoyeonjae's childhood mostly by "Andongsego", which is believed to have been tied up by Hoyeonjae's eldest brother Kim Si-taek(金時澤). Hoyeonjae's parents were appreciative friends(知己) who understood and trusted each other. They shared a sense of unity and sympathy with their children. In a culture where the whole family writes poems and talks as poems, Odu has become a lost paradise. In chapter 4, I reviewed the geographical changes in Odu by a large-scale reclamation project in the 1980s, and drew the place’s original form before the change. The meaning of the place was initially noted only as a paradise of Hoyeonjae, but it can be extended to the lost home of all of our modern people.
