지역 문화콘텐츠산업의 문제와 전망* 1. －지자체 문화콘텐츠산업의 클러스터 모형을 중심으로－

초록

The purpose of this study is to offer constructive policy suggestions in enhancing the cultural and creative industries of local governments focusing on the case of Gyeonggi-Do. The impact and importance of creative industries are rapidly growing since it has replaced the conventional industrial paradigm. Hence this study attempts to provide a series of pertinent examples in a way to fulfill unique cultural identity, historicity and locality for more sustainable development of cultural and creative industries. Furthermore, this study critically examines the ongoing process and future perspective of the cluster model of creative industries development that Gyeonggi-Do is actively pursuing at the moment. I contend that a successful policy in terms of its planning and implementation for creative industries is largely depending on recognizing the unique logic of cultural industry. Also it is imperative to articulate and negotiate the industrial and cultural paradigm by controlling the excessive corporate or administrative interests in order to optimize the public interest and the sustainable development of local cultural and creative industries.
