중소규모 건축설계사무소를 위한 BIM 템플릿 프로토타입의 개발에 관한 연구

초록

Recently, BIM has attracted attention in various fields of the construction industry. However, the architectural design field, which is the starting stage of the construction project, is not prepared for an effective way of BIM application and even the modeling method is not established yet. Large-sized architectural design firms have been developing their own technique of BIM application by investing costs and labor. Especially, as participating in BIM order by PPS, they are experiencing a lot of trial and error and accumulating know-how. In contrast, small and medium-sized architectural design firms are not involved in this situation yet. The aim of this study is to develop BIM template as a practical way to adopt BIM for small and medium-sized architectural design firms which cannot afford to apply BIM. Through BIM research trends in architectural design field, opinions of practitioners, and case analysis of BIM template, the prototype of BIM template has been developed. The first development goal is the template to create drawings for permission of neighborhood facilities. Therefore, if BIM template is applied from the most needed part in the architectural design field, it is expected to increase the possibilities and opportunities of effective BIM application.
