고전에서 찾은 대학 인성 교육의 해법

초록

To be brief, personality education is to cultivate humanistic people. The oriental classics can be the idealist text in personality education. While other classics didn't claim to stand for personality education, those classics also include the contents related to personality education. This paper investigated the personality education observed in classics. Finding out the true self is more important than any other things. It is required to train the self to be the objective other. It is also necessary to have time to check the self through advice or mentors. Next is the process to cultivate morals to be better person. The prerequisite for all kinds of studies is learning etiquettes. When we successfully make the ideal relation with parents, teachers or friends on the basis of the etiquettes, the relation with those whom we don't know will be naturally restored. Furthermore, we should not forget about the respect on life. Those who really love animal can love people. The personality education was discussed up to now, but it is still difficult issue. However, this paper clarified that the fact that the most essential education was ignored most. It is expected that personality education will play the significant role in education in the future.
