도시 개발 및 교통체계 정비 사업에 따른 장래 보행량 추정 연구: 서울국제교류복합지구 사례 분석

초록
This study presents a model and methodology that estimate the alterations in pedestrian traffic volumes resulting from urban development and transportation system revitalization projects. This study utilizes the data from the Seoul Metropolitan Government's floating population survey to develop a log-linear regression model to estimate the pattern of pedestrian traffic volumes in urban areas. The model presents a goodness-of-fit of adjusted R2 of 0.427, confirming a significant causal relationship between land use, public transportation accessibility, population/employment, integration of pedestrian network, and pedestrian traffic volumes. This study conducted a case study of the Seoul International District development project that involves a large-scale urban development and transportation system improvement, to identify the alterations in pedestrian traffic volumes resulting. The case study identified the variation in pedestrian traffic volumes by the urban development and transportation system revitalization projects such as the construction of Hyundai GBC, Jamsil Stadium and MICE development, and the opening of GTX Samseong Station, and also analyzed the level of pedestrian service on major pedestrian routes in the project area. In the absence of domestic guidelines and systematic methodologies for estimating pedestrian traffic demand following urban development projects, this study is expected to make a contribution in terms of providing relevant analysis tools and guideline.
