The Syntheses and Structural Characterization of [Sr(thd)2L]2(L=polyamine) Complexes

Three novel [Sr(thd)2(L)n] (n=2; L=diethylenetriamine(I), n=1; L= triethylenetetramine(II) and tetraethylenepentamine(III) complexes were synthesized by the reaction of Sr(thd)2 with corrresponding polyamines in THF and characterized by FT-IR, H-NMR and single crystal X-ray crystallography. Thermogravimetriv analysis shows complex I,II and III are suffficiently volatile and sublimed without residue.
