숙련에 따른 노동시장 분화와 청년의 상위 노동시장 진입

초록

This study started with a sense of the problem that technological changes and industrial structures require a broader range of skilled labor combined with thedual structure of the labor market, creating a new division of labor and strengthening the gap between workers’ groups. This stems from the fact that young people as outsiders who are about to enter the labor market are embedded in the dual structure of the labor market according to skills. Through this analysis, we tried to identify the discriminatory characteristics that appeared in the segmentation structure of skills. As a result of the analysis, the skill formation of young workers played a positive role in entering the regular labor market defined as a stable labor market in this study. However, it was found that only the formation of professional level education or special skills, not universal level skills, plays a positive role. This aspect shows that there is a difference according to the nature of skill. In particular, the positive relationship between skilled investment and entry into regular workers was relatively clear among young people who entered high-skilled occupations, while such a relationship was not found among young people in low-skilled occupations.
