초록

The purpose of this study was to examine the mediating effect of the suppression of emotional expression in the relationship between perfectionism and help seeking attitude. ˆe present study was conducted using 312 university students. Main results of this study were as follows. First, maladaptive perfectionism was negatively correlated with help seeking attitude. The suppression of emotional expression was also negatively correlated with help seeking attitude. Second, help seeking attitude was negatively correlated with maladaptive perfectionism. Help seeking attitude was also negatively affected by suppression of emotional expression. ˆird, the suppression of emotional expression mediated the relationship between the maladaptive perfectionism and help seeking attitudes.
