일-영성과 직무관련 변인들에 대한 메타분석: 기업상담을 중심으로

초록

The purpose of this study was to identify a relationship between workplace spirituality and nine work related variables. A meta-analysis was conducted in order to find the relationship between workplace spirituality (individual spirituality/personal spirituality and organizational spirituality) and job related variables. After researching data processed between 2004 and 2015, 118 documents were collected, and 9 work related variables (job satisfaction, organizational commitment, job involvement, quit intention, burn out, job stress, organizational behavior, ethical behavior, organizational performance) were identified and analyzed. Results showed that workplace spirituality and its sub variables are positively related to job related variables and negatively related to negative job variables. This research provides the concrete theoretical foundation and empirical evidence needed to promote workplace spirituality in organizational settings. Additionally, results of the meta-analysis performed yielded insights and implications specific to workplace counselors dedicated to the wellness of employees and organizations as a whole.
