초록

Due to complex mechanical structure of a motor, Finite Element Analysis (FEA) is commonly used for calculating distribution of magnetic flux. FEA has high accuracy and reliability. The use of FEA should be limited to design of a motor and another analysis method is neeeded for studying output characteristics depending on control algorithm. In this paper, new simulation model is proposed where space harmonics and variation of d, q-axis inductances are taken into account. The proposed model takes much less simulation time compared to conventional FEA method. Three-phase flux linkages are interpolated depending on instantaneous three-phase currents and position of the rotor. In this paper, new simulation model is proposed which can consider space harmonics occurred from mechanical structure of IPMSM. The results of the simulation show that the proposed model is valid. ? 2017 IEEE.
