수도권 소프트웨어 기업의 입지이전 결정요인 분석

초록

This study aims to determine the location factors for SW companies in the Seoul Metropolitan Area by analyzing the spatial movement of these SW companies. Information and communication infrastructures and SW company location policies were included for the analysis of location factors affecting spatial relocation. For this research, O-D matrix data on SW companies’ movements were constructed using the Korean enterprise yearbook from 1999to 2008, and mapped using the GIS Flow Map. The results of the study found that SW companies tended to move to Guro-gu, Geumcheon-gu, Mapo-gu, and Bundang-gu in Seongnam-si, from Gangnam-gu, Socho-gu, and Yeongdeungpo-gu. Moreover, from regression analysis, it was found that significant location factors for SW companies were the site of large SW companies and apartment-type factories. In terms of the significant spatial movement, the main factor was found to be the cluster of game companies. In conclusion,based on the research outcomes of this study, it is advisable that SW company location policies focus on the supply of accumulation facilities for SW companies, and that various land use incentives be introduced for the relocation of SW companies.
