초록
Weight reduction while maintain structural performance is one of the most challenging topics in automotive industry. Recent advances in manufacturing technology enable the automotive body structure to be built with multi-material. In this paper, multiphase level set model is introduced to represent multi-material boundaries and the optimization problem for minimizing the strain energy is formulated. The proposed method is applied to the design of two-dimensional underbody structure and the usefulness is confirmed.
